Akita was engaged by a large London-based property management company to deliver SharePoint Online consultancy and training.
Until recently, the company’s development and management divisions operated as a single entity. After a sustained period of growth, the organisation decided to divide its workforce to focus on its individual areas of expertise.
Following this change, the existing Egnyte data management solution was proving ineffective and lacking in functionality. As a result, the decision was taken to migrate to a Microsoft 365-based solution. This then led to the requirement for SharePoint Online training for their workforce.

Akita worked closely with the company to deliver a SharePoint setup that matched the internal structures of its business operations, adhering to security and administrative best practices in the process.
The company then needed a comprehensive training plan for all users.
Akita delivered an extensive SharePoint Online training package to 50 key staff members who needed access to - and therefore a good understanding of - the entire SharePoint system.
This training was spread over several weeks and was actioned in intimate groups of between eight to ten users to ensure that training was being received and understood.
This training plan was then adapted for staff in differing roles and who had different access requirements. Efficiency was needed here to guarantee that only essential information was given and to complete the training as quickly as possible before the final migration date.
In all, ‘essential’ SharePoint training was provided to a workforce of around 150 users.

Following the implementation of its new SharePoint data system, the company now effectively manages its properties separately from its property development division. This has allowed for more organised and strategic operations, boosting efficiency as a result.
