Utilising Microsoft Power BI to enhance sales reporting and business intelligence
Getting Smart With The Use Of Data
The company has recently implemented a contact centre team as a means of driving new enquiries. As part of team management, the company wanted to be able to measure how many leads and prospective clients each member of the team generated, as well as gather data on performance across the team as a whole.
Based on the requirement, we delivered a Power BI sales dashboard solution that integrates with the sales data from Dynamics 365.
The sales dashboard provides information on the three key metric areas: leads to opportunity conversion rates; leads where contact had been made to a client by phone; and opportunities from which the team had been involved and contacted the decision-maker at the client’s company.
By measuring these three KPIs, the impact of the new contact centre team can be gauged.
Always Up-To-Date Intel With Power BI Sales Dashboard
One of the most distinguishing features of our Power BI sales dashboard is its real-time synchronisation with Dynamics 365. This seamless integration ensures that reporting is not just timely, but momentary, capturing immediate sales data.
With easy-to-use filters, sales agents and managers can scrutinise data from the past and spot any trends. Reports can also be filtered by individual agents, as well as overall team performance. This allows the management team to identify where individuals may need additional support and how the team is performing overall.
Given that the team is a new development within the company, the Power BI sales dashboard report will provide valuable data on how their efforts are contributing to overall sales. In turn, it will also provide useful information on performance trends.
Akita develops a wide range of Power BI reporting solutions that cover a wide array of business data, analytics and processes.
