A Dynamics 365 Team Member licence therefore provides predominantly read-only access to your Microsoft CRM or ERP system.
Some editing functionality is included with the Team Member licence. This includes the ability to:

- Write capabilities for up to 15 custom entities
- Create and run Microsoft Powerapps
- Submit and approve time/expense entries
- Undertake user reporting and view dashboards
Due to the limited access they allow for, Team Member licences are priced much lower rate than standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 licences. They are therefore a cost-effective way of providing all employees with access to data held within your Microsoft Dynamics 365 instance.
